Roam with Bee
Discover. Reflect. Roam.

Welcome to Roam with Bee — a space where stories are written with care, not just for clicks.
I’m Bee, a writer with a curious mind and a heart for meaningful content. I don’t claim to be an expert in everything, but I do take the time to understand what matters—whether it’s a small business with a big mission, a quiet sustainability effort, or a heart-tugging story waiting to be told.
This blog isn’t about polished perfection or overpromising results. It’s about real stories, written with intention.
If you’re looking for someone who listens deeply, writes thoughtfully, and believes that every good story deserves a little heart—I hope you’ll feel at home here.
And if you ever feel that your story is ready to be told, I’d be honoured to help you tell it.

In this brand new space, the 'Tech Territory' section will delve into the evolving tech landscape through insightful interviews with industry professionals, enriched by my personal experiences and observations. Meanwhile, 'Tech-less Dance' offers a unique perspective on businesses outside the tech sphere, weaving together engaging conversations with leaders from various industries and reflections from my life beyond the digital world. Join me in exploring these diverse narratives and discover something new with each visit.

Malaysia Green Tech Award 2012
On October 12, 2012, I received an award at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from Tan Sri Muhyiddin Haji Mohd Yassin, who was then the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. This honour was for a story I wrote on solar energy, presented by The Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water Malaysia and co-organised by the Malaysian Green Technology Corporation.
Reflecting on those days always brings a smile to my face, although it also reminds me of bidding farewell to my green Baju Kebaya, which no longer fits. Before venturing into the corporate world, I was a Johor-based journalist with The New Straits Times for nearly 18 years.
Transitioning from media to corporate was a shocking experience—it was an entirely new ball game. However, I managed to thrive—or perhaps more aptly, survive—for two years.
After those transformative years in corporate, I had an enlightening A-HA moment, realising it was time for a change. So, here I am. Join me on my journey.
